Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Sleman mengadakan kegiatan Pelatihan Pranata Acara Bahasa Jawa Tahun 2024, pelatihan tersebut merupakan kegiatan PUPM (pagu usulan partisipatif masyarakat) kegiatan yang diusulkan merupakan prioritas masyarakat dari Kalurahan maupun Kapanewon.
Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh peserta dari Karang Taruna di sepuluh (10) wilayah, yaitu Kapanewon Turi, Gamping, Minggir dan Prambanan dan untuk Kalurahan meliputi Tridadi, Lumbungrejo, Sumberrejo, Jogotirto, Kalitirto, dan Condongcatur.
Dengan adanya pelatihan pranatacara bagi Karang Taruna adalah bagian dari pelestarian budaya Jawa yang adiluhung sebagai sumber kearifan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat dan mencerminkan identitas lokal masyarakat Jawa. Sehingga akan sangat penting bagi Karang Taruna sebagai generasi penerus untuk tetap melestarikan budaya itu dalam kehidupan.
“Melalui pelatihan ini, menjadi upaya Dinas Sosial dalam membantu melestarikan budaya Jawa sekaligus membekali generasi muda dengan keterampilan komunikasi yang baik dalam bahasa daerah,” ucap Mustadi.
Selama pelatihan, para peserta mendapatkan materi dari instruktur profesional mengenai teknik menjadi pranata acara, etika berkomunikasi, serta pentingnya menjaga nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam setiap kegiatan yang mereka pandu. Selain itu, guna meningkatkan semangat para peserta, Dinas Sosial Sleman juga memberikan merchandise menarik berupa topi, kaos, dan tote bag yang dibagikan kepada seluruh peserta.
Pelatihan ini menjadi kesempatan bagi Karang Taruna setempat untuk mengasah keterampilan sekaligus mempererat hubungan antara anggota Karang Taruna.
