Kelembagaan – Sebanyak 59 peserta mengikuti Bimbingan Teknis Dasar Pekerja Sosial Masyarakat (PSM) yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Sleman melalui Seksi Kelembagaan Sosial Bidang Pemberdayaan dan Kelembagaan Sosial. Bimtek dibuka secara langsung oleh Kepala Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Sleman, MUSTADI, S.Sos., MM yang dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa sangat mengharapkan peserta nantinya bisa menjadi mitra Dinas Sosial dan menunggu peran serta PSM dalam menangani permasalahan sosial di sekitarnya. “PSM sebagai salah satu pilar-pilar sosial mempunyai kesempatan yang seluas-luasnya untuk berperan dalam penyelenggaraan kesejahteraan sosial serta meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat dalam menangani masalah sosial guna mewujudkan kehidupan masyarakat yang sejahtera terutama di Kabupaten Sleman ini.” ungkapnya.
Dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas SDM Pekerja Sosial Masyarakat (PSM), tujuan Bimtek Dasar PSM ini diantaranya untuk memberikan bekal pengetahuan kepada PSM tentang praktek pekerjaan sosial dan juga meningkatkan kemampuan PSM dalam menangani berbagai masalah sosial seperti penanganan orang terlantar atau odgj, penemuan ataupun adopsi anak, serta pencatatan administrasi dalam penanganan permasalahan yang harus dilakukan oleh pekerja sosial atau PSM, serta kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan jejaring kerja antar PSM dalam kolaborasi dengan struktur IPSM (Ikatan Pekerja Sosial Masyarakat) di Kabupaten Sleman. Dinas Sosial Sleman melaksanakan kegiatan Bimbingan Teknis Dasar bagi para PSM, yang berlangsung di Aula Lantai 3 Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Sleman, selama 3 hari yaitu pada Selasa – Kamis (31 Oktober – 2 November 2023).
